DGSFP
The DGSFP (Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds) is the Spanish public body that supervises and registers pension plans, assigning each one a unique registration number.
It reports to the Ministry of Economy and is the authority that authorizes and supervises pension providers and pension plans in Spain.
The DGSFP registration number (for example, N5394) uniquely identifies each plan, similar to how an ISIN identifies a fund: it is the reference you should check before signing up for a plan, to confirm the product being offered to you is really the one you think it is.
